Help us Make Science Great Again

⚠️ Trump asked for $1 billion to cancel science. We need $1 million to protect it.

In Paris, we unveiled #MakeScienceGreatAgain — and the response has been powerful. Major media from Xinhua News Agency in China, Süddeutsche Zeitung in Germany, to The Economist in the UK reached out. More than 50 people have donated €25,000, and 30 people have already signed up to volunteer one day a week. Why? Because people know what’s at stake. Trump’s first 100 days confirm it: he’s acting on his promise — after asking Big Oil for $1 billion ahead of the election. And this isn’t just happening in the U.S. Around the world, science is being sidelined.

Experts are discredited. Facts are ignored. Truth itself is becoming dangerous. Science is still great — but it’s being pushed to the margins of policy, media, and public discourse. And what good is science if no one listens? Scientists are now raising the alarm — not just for themselves, but for all of us: In Sweden, over 1,000 scientists published an urgent open letter in Dagens Nyheter, warning that their research is increasingly dismissed as “just opinion.” In the U.S., more than 1,900 leading scientists signed a joint statement calling out a “wholesale assault” on scientific freedom and integrity. These scientists are standing up — often at great personal and professional risk — to defend the foundations of truth. We must help them.

Because this isn’t just about science. It’s about all of us — and the kind of world we want to live in. That’s why, during Climate Week in New York this September, we’ll officially launch the campaign — with global TV studios for science, major media partnerships, and a platform for scientists whose voices are being blocked. We’ll make sure those voices are heard. This campaign exists to protect truth. To restore trust.

And to make science impossible to silence. 🎯 Goal: $1 million before Climate Week NYC, September 2025 🎁 Backers are gifted a #MakeScienceGreatAgain cap — red, or another color of your choice 🤝 You can also volunteer one day a week from anywhere in the world to help support scientists and spread the truth
